1. Overview

Welcome to UpStartGo (upstartgo.com) - Networking Entrepreneurs with Investors.

UpStartGo enables parties ("Entrepreneurs") seeking investment, partnership and/or other forms of assistance to publish a public description about a venture, project or idea and the type of assistance they are seeking. Parties ("Investors") with the will and means to assist are able to browse this information online in addition to receiving notifications via email. Investors can further request contact details for an Entrepreneur, and if the Entrepreneur agrees, contact information is then exchanged.

Your use of UpStartGo constitutes your agreement to all terms, conditions, and notices as described in these terms and conditions.

2. Scope of Service

UpStartGo networks Entrepreneurs with Investors (collectively referred to as "Users"), and only provides services to assist in networking these parties.

3. Liability

UpStartGo does NOT accept any liability and does not offer any warranty of any sort, for any actions that may arise from using this service. Actions include (although not limited to):

1. The submission of information by it's user which is inaccurate or misleading.
2. Events arising in the publishing of information on this web service and/or events arising from the exchange of contact information between its users.

4. Privacy

UpStartGo agrees will only provide information about you to parties that seek this information through this service.

The following information may be considered to be secret (even to UpStartGo)

A) Password. Your password is NOT stored. A hash (MD5) of your password is stored.

The following information should be considered private, unless you explicitly agree to release it (as decided on a case by case basis):

A) Email Address.
B) Phone.

The following information should be considered public:

A) Full name.
B) Personal Biography.
C) Personal Photos.
D) Venture description, including keywords, photos, and any other information gathered about a venture you submit (applicable to UpStartGo Entrepreneurs).

We use additional 3rd party services (our payment gateway) that may request additional information from you such as your credit card details. Please refer to their terms and conditions for privacy information. UpStartGo does not intercept this information in any way and offers no liability for the misuse of any of this information provided.

5. Cookie Policy

UpStartGo uses cookies if enabled solely for the purposes of improving browsing experience, usage statistics, and auto-signin (remember me). We do NOT use cookies to track your individual web habits for to extract information about other web sites. For security reasons UpStartGo recommends that cookies are enabled - when cookies are disabled session id's are placed in URL's.

6. Submitted Information Content

Users are able to submit comments and feedback about submitted ventures. Users agree that any information submitted must be accurate and constructive.

7. Prohibited Use

UpStartGo users agree not misuse this service as defined. Users may not:

1. Submit copyright material without the express permission of the copyright owner.
2. Post abusive or offensive material of any description.
3. Post material outside the scope of this service.

UpStartGo reserves the right to terminate or suspend without justification any account that it deems in breach of these terms and conditions.

The links in the UpStartGo Web site will let you leave UpStartGo's web site. The linked sites are not under the control of UpStartGo and UpStartGo is not responsible for the contents or functionality of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site, or any changes or updates to such sites. UpStartGo is not responsible for web casting or any other form of transmission received from any linked site. UpStartGo is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by UpStartGo of the site.

We will do our best to ensure that this site is available for your use 100% of the time, however we cannot guarantee this and we do not provide any guarantees that it will be available at all times.

Permission to user documents (such as press releases, data sheet, content and FAQ's) from the UpStartGo server ("Server") is granted provided that (1) the below copyright notice appears in all copies and that both the copyright notice and this permission notice appear, (2) use of such documents from the Web site is for your informational and non-commercial or personal use only and will not be copied or posted on any network computer or broadcast in any media, and (3) no modifications of any Documents are made. Educational institutions (universities, polytechnics and secondary schools) may download and reproduce the Documents for distribution in the classroom. Distribution outside the classroom requires express written permission of UpStartGo. Use for any other purpose is expressly prohibited by law, and may result in severe civil and criminal penalties. Documents specified above do not include the design or layout of the UpStartGo web site or any other UpStartGo owned, operated, licensed or controlled site. Elements of UpStartGo web sites are protected by trade dress, trademark, unfair competition, and other laws and may not be copied or imitated in whole or in part. No logo, graphic, sound or image from any UpStartGo web site may be copied or retransmitted unless expressly permitted by UpStartGo.

By registering with UpStartGo you agree to receive emails relevant to the ventures you have submitted or are pursuing. Furthermore we will send you emails about new ventures that match the criteria as set by you if you select this option. We will not send you email containing promotional material for non UpStartGo related services.

The contact details exchange mechanism is protected by NZ provisional patents #567109 and #567714. UpStartGo and the slogan "venture networking 2.0" are trademarks of Epic Digital Limited, a New Zealand limited liability company.
