LiquidID (www.liquidid.net) is an extension to Single Sign On (SSO) systems that gives users guaranteed spam protection. SSO systems (such as such as OpenID) are of significant interest to companies such as AOL, Yahoo, Microsoft and Firefox (Mozilla) as these companies are all adopting or integrating some type of SSO technology. SSO systems present users with a portal in which to logon to all their sites using a single username / password. Each time a user desires to login to a site, they must pass via the SSO portal - therefore it provides a massive advertising potential. As LiquidID provides unique value on-top of other SSO systems there is a case for a premium service in additional revenue could be collected.
The central idea of LiquidID is protected by provisional patents.
Extensive prior art searches have initially indicated that the concept is novel.
Investment is being sought to assist in obtaining full protection on this technology. Investment will also be used to further develop the site.
For further information on the how the technology works and the scope of the IP protection, please request additional information. |
